In the first season of A Trip to Space we looked at everything from planets to black holes, with multiple exoplanets featured in ‘Exoplanet of the Week’ – this was the ‘working out what works’ season of the show.

In Season Two, due to start in January 2022, we will continue with Exoplanet of the Week, but explore a specific topic each week – through the latest news, science and predictions.

The first episode will look at asteroids, in part through the NASA Dart mission, to nudge a space rock by a small amount to see if one could be prevented from hitting Earth in the future.

To mark the return, we’ve got a slightly new look – although SpaceCat remains.
