Photos of the Street Piano project

A number of pianos are being restored ready for public display. They will be put everywhere from the central market to the airport for anyone to play.

They feature a series of designs from a gorilla to the Mexican day of the dead.

Jersey Street Pianos is the brainchild of musician Martin Coxshall, has funding from the Jersey Arts Trust and Economic Development and goes on public show from 20th June.

You can find out more on the website and Facebook page.

These are the photos I took at a garage in Trinity with Martin, Derek Tristram, Lesley Lawrence and Jon Scriven.
